About George Badey IV

Associate

While George Badey IV officially joined the firm as an attorney in 2026, his history with Badey, Sloan & DiGenova began nearly a decade earlier. Since 2017, George has worked his way through the firm’s ranks, serving as a legal assistant and law clerk while completing his education. This long-term immersion in the firm’s culture has given him a unique perspective on the practice of law, rooted in the belief that the best outcomes for clients are built on a foundation of relentless preparation.

Growing up witnessing the impact that dedicated advocacy can have on the lives of injured workers and their families, George developed a deep respect for the trial process. He approaches every case with the understanding that a successful recovery requires meticulous attention to detail from day one.

George’s academic record reflects this same commitment to excellence. He graduated magna cum laude from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, ranking 4th in his class with a GPA of over 3.8. His talent for litigation was recognized by both faculty and peers; he received the Civil Litigation Concentration Award and was voted by his classmates as the student “Most Likely to Win a Million Dollar Jury Verdict,” a nod to his natural aptitude for trial advocacy.

During his time at Drexel, George earned five CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grade in his classes, including Intro to Trial Advocacy and Pennsylvania Practice. He capped off his studies by scoring in the 99th percentile nationwide on the Bar Exam.

Beyond his academic and firm work, George is committed to using his legal skills to help the local community. While in law school, he worked with Southeastern PA Legal Aid, focusing on record clearing, expungements, and pardon applications to help underserved individuals secure a second chance.

I’ve learned that in this profession, there are no shortcuts. To get the best results for a client, you have to be willing to do the hard work, build the case for a jury from the very beginning. When the insurance companies know you are ready and willing to go the distance, that's when you truly have the leverage to protect your client’s interests.
